We invite you to join us, see students learning massage technique, get a glimpse at our lively hands-on science classes and explore the fields and wooded paths of our campus. You will have opportunities to speak with staff about the program, ask questions, and get an overall feel for the “FLSM experience.”

Tours last approximately an hour and a half, are offered Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays, and can be scheduled at your convenience.

If you’re traveling from out of town, you might want to make a weekend of your visit! Eat lunch at Ithaca’s famous Moosewood Restaurant made famous in part by chef Molly Katzen's cookbooks, walk the Ithaca Commons or relax by one of the many glorious waterfalls within walking distance from downtown.

From Ithaca

FLSM is located at 1251 Trumansburg Road (Route 96), approximately 2 miles north of Ithaca and 8 miles south of Trumansburg. Look for the Finger Lakes School of Massage sign at the entrance to a semi-circular driveway. The school is a large stone building set back from the road, between two smaller stone buildings. From Rochester, Buffalo, Niagara Falls:

From Route I-90 East (NYS Thruway) take the Route 14 Exit 42 toward Geneva. Follow Route 14 for just under half a mile. Get on to Route 96 South. At Trumansburg (be especially aware of speeding in Trumansburg) FLSM is about 8 miles farther, on the left, just past the stoplight for the Cayuga Medical Center. Look for the Finger Lakes School of Massage sign at the entrance to a semi-circular driveway. The school is a large stone building set back from the road, between two smaller stone buildings. Enter the green front doors, turn left in the foyer, and look for the sign for the Main Office.

From Syracuse (& Points North):

Frpm Route I-90 (NYS Thruway) merge onto I-481 South via exit 34A toward Syracuse/Cortland. Take Route 81 South. Take US-11 exit 12 at Homer. Follow signs for Route 281 South to Ithaca. Route 281 becomes Route 13 South in Cortland. Follow Route 13 South to Ithaca. Come into Ithaca down a steep hill on the east shore of Cayuga Lake. Continue on Route 13 and get in the far right lane. Turn right on Buffalo Street and get in the left lane. Go straight through the next light and follow the signs to the hospital. This street becomes Route 96 North and crosses two bridges. The school is up the hill about 2 miles. Pass Candlewyck Park Apartments then Lakeside Nursing Home on the right. From Albany (& Points East, New England):

Take Route I-90 West (NYS Thruway) toward Buffalo. Merge onto I-88W via exit 25A toward Schenectady / Binghamton. Take Route 206 exit 8 toward Bainbridge. Take Route 206 West to Whitney Point where you will take Route 79 West to Ithaca. Come into Ithaca down a steep hill. Continue down the hill, easing to the right and turn onto the one-way street, Seneca Street, at the bottom. Stay on Seneca for about 2 miles, through a series of stoplights. At the one-way highway, Meadow Street/Route 13, turn right and continue one block. Turn left on Buffalo Street and get into the left lane. Go straight through the next light and follow signs to the hospital. This street becomes Route 96 North and crosses two bridges. The school is up the hill about 2 miles.
