Professional Clinic Practicum & Community Service
Each FLSM student graduates with an enviable resume of supervised clinical experiences. In our Community Service Clinic, students choose among several specialized settings where they offer massage to local senior citizens, to hospital patients at Cayuga Medical Center, to adults with developmental disabilities, to clients living in nearby long-term care and memory-care facilities, and to athletes at a variety of regional sporting events. Students frequently express how greatly these clients have inspired them. Other interested members of the Ithaca community also receive massage in our afterschool clinic.
