Full Time classes start soon! Ithaca, NY — September 2009 Mt. Kisco, NY — September 2009
As part of your massage therapy training you will get the change to apply your training outside the classroom.
In addition to regular classroom hours, students are required to complete a massage
practicum, which offers the opportunity to work with members of the Ithaca community,
as well as other students, while being supported by staff supervision in our classrooms.
Additionally, as a valuable part of their massage therapy education, students participate in the Community Service Clinic option of their choice, working with individual clients once per week over ten subsequent weeks.
All sites are fully supervised and happen either in the FLSM classrooms or at various
clinic sites within walking distance of the school.
You have the option to apply your massage therapy education at the following:
Cayuga Medical Center
Alterra Assisted Living Facility
Developmentally Disabled Services
Seniors in the Ithaca Community
With massage therapy training in New York, you can make a real difference in the life of others.
