The FLSM Alumni Program fosters on-going, dynamic relationships with our graduate community of 2,000 + professionals, offering support and personal connection far beyond the six-month scope of our program.

1. Employment Opportunities

While FLSM cannot guarantee employment, we do provide assistance in connecting graduates to places that hire massage therapists. Our reputation is unmatched in the professional community and we receive daily notice from establishments looking to hire gifted and well-rounded bodyworkers.

Exclusive to graduates is our Online Job Opportunities page. Here, you will find a listing of the latest employment opportunities replete with information about salary, benefits and the kinds of skills required. Graduates are encouraged to check this site often as employers visit frequently to post new listings.

To ensure a healthy pool of employment opportunities, FLSM maintains relationships with over 300 spas, wellness centers and other places that hire massage therapists so when positions become available, employers know to go directly to www.flsm.com and "Hire a Graduate" to tap into to our pool of talented graduates.

2. Online Discussion Board

FLSM's Discussion Board serves as a central meeting place offering personal and professional connection exclusive to our graduate community. One can be sure to find posts discussing current trends in the bodywork profession, graduates sharing information about useful products, literature and even helpful marketing tips. FLSM instructors often write posts posing provocative questions or to simply say "hello". Our Outreach Coordinator "moderates" the discussion board to help facilitate new topic discussions or to simply pass along news from the halls of FLSM.

3. Articulations: The FLSM Newsletter

Articulations is available to all graduates via email. Features include information about job opportunities, school happenings, staff highlights, upcoming workshops, updates from our graduates and much, much more!

4. Graduate Directory

We actively refer clients to graduates country-wide. FLSM maintains an on-line Graduate Directory which provides participating graduates with exposure to potential clients looking for massage therapists on the web.

5. Advanced Trainings and Workshops

FLSM offers an on-going selection of quality evening and weekend advanced training workshops taught by our staff and other highly trained individuals in the field. The workshops section of our website is updated regularly and graduates are encouraged to visit often.

The Alumni section of our website is a user-friendly "place" maintaining the essence of the one-on-one, caring environment students experience while in residence at FLSM.
