At FLSM, we really, really love what we do. We believe in the power of bodywork because, well, because we've seen it work. And we also believe in our students and our graduates, because hey, authentic passion is contagious, and our students demonstrate the same affection for the field of massage therapy that we do.
FLSM opened its first campus, in Ithaca, in 1994. Due to the success of that campus and continued projected growth in the field of massage therapy, we opened our second campus, in Mount Kisco, in 2008.
We are proud to say that Finger Lakes School of Massage has produced, and continues to produce, well-trained, passionate, dedicated, and satisfied graduates that embody the spirit of trust, cooperation and integrity that FLSM prides itself on.
The mission of the Finger Lakes School of Massage is to prepare each student for a career in massage therapy by providing a holistic education that honors scientific and intuitive approaches to healing, creating a culture that invites exquisite care of self and others, and doing so in an atmosphere of joy, abundance, compassion, curiosity, and respect.
We support our students from the moment they submit their application to long after they graduate.
We foster a safe environment where curiosity and compassion are encouraged by our experienced and dedicated staff.
Our students feel secure exploring the boundaries of self knowledge due to the holistic and nurturing environment that has been carefully curated and meticulously maintained.
Come learn with us.

But even at its most basic, massage therapy can turn any day into a better day. Getting a massage can relieve stress and put a skip in our step. Getting a massage just makes us feel better.
